About this event

The Technology Special Interest Group (Tech SIG) focuses on the “nuts and bolts” of implementing and optimizing tools and technology for your speaking business.  Complimenting the Sales SIG, which often spotlights the “what” and “why”, the Tech SIG spotlights the “how”.  Meetings highlight a single topic with a guest presenter, then offer a short “members helping members” open question & answer session.

The Tech SIG meets virtually on the 1st Wednesday of each month 4-5pm PST. This month...

The Practitioner’s Path: How I Use AI to Increase Time Freedom

Let’s be honest: Most of us didn't become professional speakers because we loved administrative work, content scheduling, or research. We did it for the stage. But the business of speaking can quickly become a 24/7 grind of mundane tasks... that eats at your happiness.

I’m not an AI developer or a silicon-valley tech expert. I’m a speaker, just like you. And I’ve found a way to use AI to handle the heavy lifting so I can focus on my craft.

In this session, I’m pulling back the curtain on my actual business. I’ll show you the exact tools I use every day to automate the "boring stuff," streamline my sales, and protect my most valuable asset: my time. No fluff, no complex coding—just a practical look at how I’ve integrated AI into my workflow to get my life back.

What We’ll Cover:
My "Essential AI Stack": A few simple tools I use daily (and why I chose them over the hundreds of others).

The "Meeting to Marketing" Pipeline: How I turn a single Zoom call or speech into a month’s worth of content without hiring a social media manager.

Email & Inbox Sanity: How I use AI to draft outreach, handle inquiries, and stop the "inbox overwhelm."

Research in Seconds: How I prepare for client calls and customize my presentations using AI as my personal research assistant.

The "Good Enough" Rule: Why you don't need to be a "prompt engineer" to get 80% of the benefit from AI.

The Transformation:
You’ll leave this session with a list of "plug-and-play" tools and a better understanding of why AI is awesome.

Why This Session is Different
"I speak 'Speaker,' not 'Code.'" This isn't a high-level theory session. It’s a "show and tell" of a working speaker's business. If I can use it, you can too.

The Old Way The AI Way (How I do it now) Time Saved
Transcribing & Summarizing AI records, notes, and assigns tasks. 2 Hours / Week
Social Media Planning AI drafts posts based on my unique voice. 3 Hours / Week
Prospect Research AI summarizes the client's latest news. 1 Hour / Prep
Email Drafting AI creates the "first draft" of my proposals. 4 Hours / Week

Bonus: live demo/work on YOUR business.

About Our Speaker
Brooklyn Dicent, M.Ed.
America’s Chief Happiness Officer | Happiness at Work Keynote Speaker

Brooklyn Dicent M.Ed. is on a mission to bring joy to the world, one stage at a time. Known as America’s Chief Happiness Officer, Brooklyn is a high-octane keynote speaker, a UN and TEDx Speaker, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Certified Professional Executive Coach. Whether she is speaking to global organizations or performing as an intuitive comedian and entertainer, her goal is always the same: transforming workplace culture through the power of happiness.

But behind the scenes of a fun speaking practice is a mountain of "to-do’s" that aren't always joyful.

Brooklyn isn’t an AI scientist or a tech developer. She’s a practitioner who discovered that Artificial Intelligence could be the ultimate "Happiness Assistant." By offloading the mundane, administrative tasks of her business to AI, she reclaimed her freedom to focus on her true calling—creativity and connection. In this workshop, Brooklyn pulls back the curtain on the simple, non-intimidating tools she uses to keep her business running smoothly, proving that you don’t need to be a tech expert to make AI your new best friend.
