Complimenting the Sales SIG, which often spotlights the “what” and “why”, the Tech SIG spotlights the “how”. Meetings highlight a single topic with a guest presenter, then offer a short “members helping members” open question & answer session.
The Tech SIG meets virtually on the 1st Wednesday of each month 4-5pm PST. This month...
Slide Science: Designing for Memory and Impact
Most slides fail not because they’re ugly, but because they ignore how the brain actually processes information. In this fast-paced, practical session, visual communication expert Brian Croft reveals how neuroscience and visual psychology can transform ho-hum slides into unforgettable experiences. You’ll learn why some visuals stick while others vanish, how to apply long-accepted elements and principles of design to guide attention, and how to craft visuals that balance clarity with emotion. Expect plenty of real-world examples, design makeovers, and “aha” moments you can apply immediately.By the end, you’ll know exactly how to make your slides not just look better, but work harder for your message.
