“I have been going to NSA meetings for the last year and a half in another state. All of the meetings had a speaker that was FABULOUS, but I found no value in being an NSA member. I did not see how NSA would help me with my speaking career or improve my speaking.
The other night I attended my first NSA Northwest meeting and it was BEYOND what I had hoped for. The value, the benefits, the camraderie between the members was AMAZING. I can see myself joining this chapter because they not only have great speakers, but they provide the members with opportunities to help them improve their speaking, they hold you accountable to accomplishing your goals, and appear to work together as well.
A few days later a follow-up to the meeting was sent out. It displayed pictures of the meeting, told all about the meeting, listed what members need help with and offered recommendations of how to find the solutions. This is a great tool in itself. I can’t wait to be apart of this group!”
